Deborah Rose
Clinical Āyurveda + full-spectrum Doula
Dip.Ayu, Clinical Aromatherapist, MCMA, CNHC reg.
Deborah Rose is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Doula, and specialist in botanical formulation based in London. Her transition into holistic healthcare was a natural evolution from her career as a fashion model—a world of high-concept storytelling and make-believe. In an industry where the body is often treated as a canvas for others' visions, Deborah had to learn to take absolute agency over her own physical and mental boundaries. This experience allows her to bridge that external world of curated imagination with the internal "birth bubble" a doula facilitates, protecting the sacred, private space of labour.
For Deborah, Ayurveda is a mind-body science that felt like "coming home," shifting her perspective from viewing the body as a tool to honouring it as a sacred vessel.
When you join the AyurDoula Program, you are invited to monthly gatherings that bridge theoretical study with real-world practice. Through hands-on bodywork and Q&As, Deborah equips students with the confidence to navigate matrescence and body image. By integrating clinical Ayurveda with the art of formulation, Deborah guides others to thrive through the profound transformations of pregnancy and postpartum.
