After Āyurveda healed my mind-body relationship and deeply restored my connection to my womb ~ and by extension, the Śakti that flows within ~ over a decade ago, I decided to immerse myself in this living, ancient wisdom tradition with foundational lineage-holders such as Dr Vasant Lad, Dr K.P. Khalsa, and Mother Maya Tiwari. My devotion to birthwork was sparked when I came across the pioneering work of Terra Rafaël, a retired homebirth midwife who mentored me throughout my foundational years as a doula and continues to inspire my practice daily.

Today, my practice centers the family as a collective nervous system, integrating Vedic sciences to support the whole of the home. Through individual and partner somatic therapies, medical acupuncture, marma, clinical aromatherapy, prāṇāyāma (breathing), and āsana (posture), I guide the mind-body toward deep physiological rest. This is supported by tailored botanical formulations, carefully prescribed alongside the guidance of their primary physician.

Āyurveda Doula operates within an integrative, non-allopathic practitioner framework. While I welcome the integration of biomedical data to safely inform protocols, I explicitly honour the legally protected title of Midwife.

I view traditional holistic support and modern maternity care as distinct, parallel pathways of excellence. My work focuses entirely on the spiritual, nutritional, and physiological foundations of well-being, and I hold an unshakeable commitment to collaborative care by deferring immediately to obstetric or medical teams when encountering clinical complications.
